First time login problem whith VDS control panel

Symptoms

When trying to login for the first time to VDS owner control panel, the wizards message doesn't close (it is closed when clicking "OK", but opens again when browsing to another tab).

 

Resolution

 

This is how the Mozila and IE6 browsers work.


When login for the 1st time to the GUI - a dialog message and the quick start wizard should popup, because Mozila and IE6 have popup blocker - the popup wizard window is blocked while the dialog box appears.


This will repeat itself untill the user will press the "cancle" button or the X button in the wizard window, to do so the user should allow popups for the Primery VDS IP.


This problem might exist in all browser with maximum security popup blocker configured.
