Symptoms
Getting "Can not login: 1" whern trying to access VDSs from the RD control pannel
Resolution
The error displayed could be due to a few different reasons:
a) Cluster password change
b) Network connectivity problem between RD and the server
c) Server is not responding to the API
In order to fix section 'a' please use the following steps which will update the Cluster password manually in the RD.
1. SU to primary VDS where RD is installed
2. run: php usr/local/grs/scripts/set_cluster_passwd.php
3. fill in the password.
4. Wait a short while for the changes to take effect.
In order to test the issue 'b' please use the following steps :
1. SU to primary VDS where RD is installed
2. run telnet
3. Check that no errors are reported
In order to test the issue 'c' please use the formatter to send an Open API command to the ServerDirector.
