1. Topic:

Update for Virtuozzo 3.5.1 provides with fixes for VEs stability, backup functionality and ability to install new Microsoft and Citrix updates

2. Problem description:

-  The following error could appear during backup of huge VEs with  high disk activity: Error 458785: unable to create volume snapshot
-  File records could be corrupted on VEs running Windows Datacenter Edition Service Pack 2 R2
-  VE got Out of Memory error running SAPI application inside
-  VEs could not start after upgrade to Service Pack 2
-  VE could hang in some special conditions when VPN client was used inside
-  Automatic Updates service is disabled inside VE now

All Virtuozzo 3.5.1 users are advised to update their Virtuozzo node.

3. Affected components description:

- Backup service which provides an ability to backup VEs
- Automatic Update service - download and install Microsoft updates

#96541 - Unexpected error 0x0 SCM(Service Control Manager) startup waiting timeout for VE

7. Obtaining and Installation:

On the Virtuozzo Windows host, run Virtuozzo Update Wizard  (vzupdate.exe)  and follow the instructions.   This wizard will install all the recent Virtuozzo updates and hotfixes in the correct sequence. Otherwise you can install Virtuozzo updates manually.
