[FIX] Unable to change password or set permissions for FTP subaccount

Symptoms

It is impossible to change password and configure new permissions for FTP subaccount. The following error is displayed:

Error: Unable to update FTP account: Unable update FTP subaccount: ftpmng --update-user failed: PathCombine failed for dir C:\Inetpub\vhosts\domain.tld\web_users\webdrive\Core\A. Materials\Purchasing Training\(B) Level 2 Purchasing\Training Materials\(B) 2-Day Workshop\Bloomberg 2007\Actual use\Bloomberg Binder Sept 2007\2007\Binder\30 Negotiating with Suppliers and fileName 32 Preferred Profile.rtf

Cause

The reason of the problem is that ftp home directory is too long and Windows has limitation to 255 symbols for path.

Resolution

Please do not use path which contains more than 255 symbols for FTP subaccount home directory.
