WEBppliance Basic for Linux
Version 3.5.10 (LS)
Ensim is pleased to announce the release of our newest product, Ensim WEBppliance Basic for Linux, as well as updates to WEBppliance Pro for Linux.
Introducing WEBppliance Basic for Linux
WEBppliance Basic is a new solution, purpose-built for businesses and Webmasters managing one or more robust Web sites on a dedicated server. Its easy-to-use and simple user interface provides this single administrator control over:
- Key server settings
- Application configuration and management
- Creation of IP and name-based domains
- Web site configuration including file management, multiple databases, subdomains and eCommerce
- Creation of email and FTP users
It relies on the same user interface as Ensim's control panel solution for professional Web hosting businesses, Ensim WEBppliance Pro. However, its feature set has been simplified to meet the needs of the Webmaster. Key capabilities for the hosting business or reseller, such as delegated administration to resellers, site administrators and site users; service plan template management; bandwidth management; and advanced site management capabilities such as mailing lists and Tomcat are available only with WEBppliance Pro.
Please see Ensim's web site at http://www.ensim.com/products/webppliance/basic/index.html for more information on the benefits of WEBppliance Basic, as well as differences between the two products.
