Resolution

Virtuozzo license is stored in /etc/hspc/licenses/vzlicense file on a hardware node. Virtuozzo Control Center and Power Panel license may be included into the same file or may be stored in a separate one - /etc/hspc/licenses/vzcplicense.

To check which licenses are currently installed and loaded use
# vzlicview

You can also view the properties of the license stored in an arbitrary file, e.g.
# vzlicview -f /etc/hspc/licenses/vzlicense

To install a new Virtuozzo license put its content into mentioned above file and run the following command:
# vzlicload

Virtuozzo Control Center and Power Panel licenses can be installed via Control Center web-interface (https://SERVICE_VE_IP:4643) as well as Virtuozzo license.

Virtuozzo license depends on the following parameters:
  • Unique Hardware ID (HWID) of the server which is calculated according to the motherboard and network adapter unique identifiers, you may also check this article for more information on how to determine Hardware ID;
  • Maximum number of VEs allowed to be started simultaneously;
  • Start date and end date;
  • CPU power.
